Product Dewspiption

The Meibao MGM/MGB Series Mechanical Diaphragm Metering Pump is a precision-engineered dosing solution designed for accurate and reliable chemical injection in water treatment, chemical processing, and industrial applications. Featuring a mechanically driven diaphragm with no diaphragm protection plate on the material side, this pump ensures smooth material passage and minimal clogging risk. The variable eccentric mechanism guarantees smooth flow pulsation, while the enhanced structural design and wear-resistant ball bearings ensure stable operation even in harsh environments. Available in PVC, PVDF, and 316SS wetted materials with PTFE diaphragms, the MGM/MGB series offers exceptional corrosion resistance and versatility for handling a wide range of chemicals, including high-viscosity and slurry media.

Precise Dosing Control

Mechanical diaphragm design with 30%-100% adjustment range and ±1% static accuracy, ensuring precise and repeatable chemical dosing.

Smooth Flow Pulsation
Variable eccentric mechanism adjustment ensures smooth flow pulsation, minimizing pressure fluctuations and improving process stability.

Enhanced Structural Design
Reinforced construction suitable for harsh operating environments, with wear-resistant ball bearings for more stable operation and extended service life.
Oil Bath Lubrication

Drive components are lubricated in an oil bath, significantly extending service life and reducing maintenance requirements.

Flexible Adjustment Options
Flow can be adjusted in both shutdown and running states, with manual, electric, or variable frequency adjustment methods available.

Typical Applications

Water Treatment: Chemical dosing for pH adjustment, disinfection, and flocculation.
Chemical Processing: Precise injection of additives, catalysts, and reagents.
Petrochemical: Dosing of corrosion inhibitors and process chemicals.
Pharmaceutical: Accurate metering of active ingredients.

What is the maximum viscosity the MB pump can handle?
+
The MB magnetic drive pump is optimized for low-to-medium viscosity liquids (up to ~200 cPs at operating temperature). For high-viscosity media above 200 cPs, please contact our engineering team — we may recommend a reduced speed operation or a gear pump alternative.
Can the MB pump handle HF acid?
+
Yes. The MB pump with PTFE or PVDF wet-end is fully compatible with hydrofluoric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 80°C. PTFE offers the best HF resistance. For semiconductor-grade HF applications, we recommend our dedicated HF Series with ultra-pure material specifications.
What is the pump's NPSH requirement?
+
NPSH requirements vary by model and operating point. Typically, the MB series requires 2-3m NPSHa. We recommend ensuring the available NPSH (NPSHa) from your installation is at least 1m higher than the pump's required NPSHr. Full NPSH curves are available in the product datasheet.
Do you offer ATEX / explosion-proof versions?
+
Yes. ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified models are available for environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present. Please specify the ATEX zone and gas group (IIA, IIB, or IIC) when requesting a quote.
Can I get spare parts for this pump?
+
Yes. We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts for the MB series including magnet assemblies, impellers, shaft sleeves, and containment shells. Parts can be shipped within 5-10 working days to most destinations. We recommend ordering a spare parts kit with your initial order for critical applications.
