Product Dewspiption

The Meibao MZK Series Stainless Steel Centrifugal Pump is a high-performance, corrosion-resistant pumping solution engineered for demanding chemical transfer applications. Constructed from premium SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel, this series offers excellent resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, and aggressive chemicals. Featuring a self-cooling design with a cooling water tank, the MZK series can run idle (dry) without damaging mechanical seal components, significantly enhancing operational reliability. With a direct-coupled coaxial structure, fluid mechanics-optimized impeller, and low-noise stainless steel bearings, this series delivers high efficiency, stable performance, and long service life for industrial chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and surface finishing applications.

Idling Capable with Self-Cooling Design

Equipped with a cooling water tank that keeps the mechanical seal continuously immersed in coolant, the pump can operate dry (idle) without damage to seal components, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Construction
Available in SUS304 and SUS316 stainless steel, providing exceptional corrosion resistance for handling strong acids (up to 98% concentration), alkalis, and various chemical media.

High-Efficiency Direct-Coupled Design
Features a coaxial direct-coupled structure (motor shaft as pump shaft) with excellent concentricity, reducing vibration, noise, and energy loss while improving overall efficiency.
Optimized Hydraulic Performance

Engineered with fluid mechanics principles and a scientific hydraulic impeller model, delivering stable performance, high flow rates, and low noise operation.

Low Maintenance & Long Service Life
Utilizes stainless steel bearings with low vibration and noise, plus mechanical seal design that does not damage the shaft, ensuring long service life and easy maintenance.

Typical Applications

Chemical Processing: Transfer and circulation of acids, alkalis, and aggressive chemicals.
PCB Manufacturing: Etching and developing solution transfer.

What is the maximum viscosity the MB pump can handle?
+
The MB magnetic drive pump is optimized for low-to-medium viscosity liquids (up to ~200 cPs at operating temperature). For high-viscosity media above 200 cPs, please contact our engineering team — we may recommend a reduced speed operation or a gear pump alternative.
Can the MB pump handle HF acid?
+
Yes. The MB pump with PTFE or PVDF wet-end is fully compatible with hydrofluoric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 80°C. PTFE offers the best HF resistance. For semiconductor-grade HF applications, we recommend our dedicated HF Series with ultra-pure material specifications.
What is the pump's NPSH requirement?
+
NPSH requirements vary by model and operating point. Typically, the MB series requires 2-3m NPSHa. We recommend ensuring the available NPSH (NPSHa) from your installation is at least 1m higher than the pump's required NPSHr. Full NPSH curves are available in the product datasheet.
Do you offer ATEX / explosion-proof versions?
+
Yes. ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified models are available for environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present. Please specify the ATEX zone and gas group (IIA, IIB, or IIC) when requesting a quote.
Can I get spare parts for this pump?
+
Yes. We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts for the MB series including magnet assemblies, impellers, shaft sleeves, and containment shells. Parts can be shipped within 5-10 working days to most destinations. We recommend ordering a spare parts kit with your initial order for critical applications.
