What are the differences in materials between corrosion - resistant pumps and ordinary pumps?

Ordinary pumps use cast iron or standard steel for wetted parts, suitable only for water or mild fluids. Corrosion-resistant pumps use engineered thermoplastics (PVDF, PP, PEEK), stainless steel alloys, or exotic metals (Hastelloy, titanium) specifically selected to resist chemical attack.
