Product Dewspiption

The Meibao TF/GTF Series FRP Direct-Coupled Centrifugal Fan is a compact, corrosion-resistant ventilation solution specifically designed for chemical, laboratory, and industrial environments requiring reliable and maintenance-friendly air handling. Featuring a pure fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) construction, this fan offers excellent corrosion resistance and lightweight properties, making it suitable for handling corrosive gases in chemical plants, laboratories, and other aggressive environments. Its core structure includes an impeller, casing, and motor assembly, with a direct-drive design that simplifies mechanical connections, reduces energy loss, and lowers maintenance complexity. Unlike belt-driven fans, the direct-coupled design eliminates belts and pulleys, resulting in a more compact footprint, higher transmission efficiency, and reduced maintenance requirements.

Key Features

Direct-Drive Design
The impeller is directly mounted on the motor shaft, eliminating belts, pulleys, and coupling components. This simplifies the mechanical connection, reduces energy loss, improves transmission efficiency, and significantly lowers maintenance complexity.

Compact & Lightweight Construction
The absence of belt and pulley systems results in a smaller, more compact footprint and reduced overall weight, making installation easier and saving valuable floor or platform space.

Superior Corrosion Resistance
Manufactured from pure fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) using Vinylester-grade premium resin with a UV-resistant gel coat, providing excellent resistance to acid and alkali gases and ensuring long-term durability in corrosive environments.

Low Noise & Low Vibration
The direct-drive design eliminates belt vibration and slippage, resulting in quieter operation and smoother performance compared to belt-driven alternatives. Precision dynamic balancing ensures low vibration during operation.

Easy Maintenance
With no belts to tension or replace, and no pulleys to align, maintenance is significantly simplified. The motor and impeller assembly can be easily accessed for inspection and cleaning.

What is the maximum viscosity the MB pump can handle?
+
The MB magnetic drive pump is optimized for low-to-medium viscosity liquids (up to ~200 cPs at operating temperature). For high-viscosity media above 200 cPs, please contact our engineering team — we may recommend a reduced speed operation or a gear pump alternative.
Can the MB pump handle HF acid?
+
Yes. The MB pump with PTFE or PVDF wet-end is fully compatible with hydrofluoric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 80°C. PTFE offers the best HF resistance. For semiconductor-grade HF applications, we recommend our dedicated HF Series with ultra-pure material specifications.
What is the pump's NPSH requirement?
+
NPSH requirements vary by model and operating point. Typically, the MB series requires 2-3m NPSHa. We recommend ensuring the available NPSH (NPSHa) from your installation is at least 1m higher than the pump's required NPSHr. Full NPSH curves are available in the product datasheet.
Do you offer ATEX / explosion-proof versions?
+
Yes. ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified models are available for environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present. Please specify the ATEX zone and gas group (IIA, IIB, or IIC) when requesting a quote.
Can I get spare parts for this pump?
+
Yes. We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts for the MB series including magnet assemblies, impellers, shaft sleeves, and containment shells. Parts can be shipped within 5-10 working days to most destinations. We recommend ordering a spare parts kit with your initial order for critical applications.
