Product Dewspiption

The Meibao MHF Series Fluorine Lined Centrifugal Pump is a high-performance, corrosion-resistant pumping solution engineered for handling the most aggressive chemicals in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a robust metal casing (HT200 grey cast iron) fully lined with premium fluoroplastic (F46), it combines excellent mechanical strength with superior chemical resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and solvents. Designed with a compact direct-coupled structure, the pump offers a small footprint, easy maintenance, and reliable performance. Its impeller is meticulously designed as a free-form two-dimensional twisted blade flow channel, optimized through CFD simulation with a 5° blade angle to prevent cavitation and reduce noise. The lining layer is reinforced with a dovetail groove design for superior bonding, ensuring long-term stability and leak-free operation even under pressure fluctuations. With its patented idling capability, this pump can run dry without damaging the mechanical seal, significantly improving reliability and reducing maintenance costs.

Key Features

Patented Idling Capability
Equipped with a self-developed idling cooling system (internal or external cooling water tank), the pump can operate without liquid (dry-run) without damage. This breakthrough technology, launched in 2016, solved the industry pain point of traditional corrosion-resistant pumps burning out during dry operation and broke foreign brand monopoly.

Compact Direct-Coupled Design

Features a pump head directly connected to the motor without a coupling, significantly reducing product volume, simplifying transportation and installation, and ensuring better shaft alignment.

Anti-Cavitation & Low Noise
The impeller is designed with a free-form two-dimensional twisted blade flow channel, optimized through CFD simulation. The 5° blade angle ensures uniform inlet flow, prevents cavitation, and reduces noise.

Superior Corrosion & Temperature Resistance
The pump body is constructed from a metal shell (HT200) tightly lined with F46 fluoroplastic. The impeller is available in PVDF. This combination provides excellent resistance to strong acids, alkalis, oxidants, and reducing agents, effectively replacing expensive titanium alloys and Monel alloys. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +110°C.

Robust Construction
The pump head adopts a volute design with HT200 material. The inner wall of the casting features dovetail grooves to enhance bonding with the smooth F46 lining, providing high mechanical strength, pressure resistance, and impact resistance.

What is the maximum viscosity the MB pump can handle?
+
The MB magnetic drive pump is optimized for low-to-medium viscosity liquids (up to ~200 cPs at operating temperature). For high-viscosity media above 200 cPs, please contact our engineering team — we may recommend a reduced speed operation or a gear pump alternative.
Can the MB pump handle HF acid?
+
Yes. The MB pump with PTFE or PVDF wet-end is fully compatible with hydrofluoric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 80°C. PTFE offers the best HF resistance. For semiconductor-grade HF applications, we recommend our dedicated HF Series with ultra-pure material specifications.
What is the pump's NPSH requirement?
+
NPSH requirements vary by model and operating point. Typically, the MB series requires 2-3m NPSHa. We recommend ensuring the available NPSH (NPSHa) from your installation is at least 1m higher than the pump's required NPSHr. Full NPSH curves are available in the product datasheet.
Do you offer ATEX / explosion-proof versions?
+
Yes. ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified models are available for environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present. Please specify the ATEX zone and gas group (IIA, IIB, or IIC) when requesting a quote.
Can I get spare parts for this pump?
+
Yes. We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts for the MB series including magnet assemblies, impellers, shaft sleeves, and containment shells. Parts can be shipped within 5-10 working days to most destinations. We recommend ordering a spare parts kit with your initial order for critical applications.
